There is a lot of controversy on finding a current value for your home.  Are Instant Home Value Calculator Worth It For Sellers?  When finding your value for your home to sell.  How do find the current list price and what is the current value of my home? 

On Sunday, May 20, 2018, the online real estate website’s ‘Zestimate’ tool for estimating U.S. home values won their case in court.  Is this a good thing or bad thing???  As the reports say in the many articles written about this last Zillow Zestimate court case, it is just an option of Zillow.  It is kind of like your government county assessor in the United States.  The county assessor is not a licensed real estate agent or appraiser.  Which a licensed appraiser is a need for a buyer to get a loan.  The government county assessor collects on a percentage of what the home sold for and it all starts with what a buyer is will to pay for a home and within the licensed appraiser’s value.

There are four ways your home is looked at for a current value:

1. What you see what your home is worth
2. The way a buyer sees what your home is worth
3. The buyer’s bank/ licensed appraiser sees what your home is worth
4. The way the government county assessor sees what your home is worth.

You have to prove what the current value of your home is to two out or the four.

Can you guess what two you have to prove the current value of your home to sell???  If you guessed 2 and 3 then you are on the right page.

It all starts with positioning your home to sell.
