The county assessor is not a licensed real estate agent or appraiser. Which a licensed appraiser is a need for a buyer to get a loan. The government county assessor collects on a percentage of what the home sold for and it all starts with what a buyer is will to pay for a home and within the licensed appraiser’s value.
There are four ways your home is looked at for a current value:
